The detailed statue of the "Maschinenmensch" immediately transports the viewer to the iconic world of the 1927 film classic "Metropolis". Based on the original design by Walter Schulze-Mittendorff, this exclusive statue perfectly captures the fascinating aesthetics and artistic heritage of director Fritz Lang's timeless masterpiece.

The "Maschinenmensch" Maria embodies the first robot in film history and has since become a timeless icon of pop culture. The original from the futuristic silent film "Metropolis" was burned during filming. In 1964, the Cinémathèque Française, a French film institute dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of films as a cultural asset, asked creator Walter Schulze-Mittendorff to bring his iconic character back to life. The German sculptor reconstructed his masterpiece from memory and photographs with impressive attention to detail for posterity. It was to take several years to complete - it has been on display at the Musée du Cinéma in Paris since 1972.

- For the "Maschinenmensch" statue, this original model by the artist was meticulously scanned with millimeter precision and reproduced on a reduced scale.
- The transparent base of the statue can be illuminated from below to present the fascinating design in all its glory.
- The entire statue is manufactured in Germany. Every production detail has been personally checked and approved by Bertina Schulze-Mittendorff, the daughter of the legendary artist.
- Each statue comes with a 'Certificate of Authenticity' signed by Bertina Schulze-Mittendorff.
- The extensive accessories also include a cardboard diorama and an 8-page booklet on the history of the statue's creation, including fascinating photos.
- 1/10 scale: The detailed reproduction is based on the original scale and perfectly captures the essence of the machine man.
- Sustainable production: 100% Made in Hamburg, with plastic-free packaging for an environmentally friendly solution.

The "Maschinenmensch" statue is an unmistakable symbol of "Metropolis", one of the most important and influential works in film history. The expressionist work of art is a must for all film fans and admirers of science fiction.

100% Made in Hamburg, plastic-free packaging (except for the cardboard adhesive).
