The ancient sagas of the Northlands tell of a monstrous creature known as a Fenrirkynn. Towering beasts said to be the offspring of the Great Wolf, there has not been a confirmed sighting of one of these creatures in Mythoss in ages, and their existence was deemed the stuff of fiction long ago. As the survivors of the attacks on Einsamall look upon the wolf-like monster before them, they know that the Fernirkynn are all too real, and that they are in grave danger.

Clad in strange and foreign armor and still bearing the broken chains and shackles of a one-time imprisonment, the Fenrirkynn monster, Garmyr, is a feral monstrosity and the true Horror of Einsamall. Killing seemingly indiscriminately, the Fenrirkynn beast violently attacks the residents of the small settlement as they stand before him in stunned silence. The heroes of Einsamall are no match for the monster's strength, but the flames of a carefully thrown torch ignite the creature's fur, buying those heroes a moment's respite and a chance to barricade themselves inside the town's inn. Inside that structure, the survivors prepare for another assault as a terrible howl echoes through the night and the doors of the structure begin to shake and rattle. The Horror of Einsamall will not be sated until he has claimed his latest victim, but suddenly the attacks cease as a cry of challenge is heard from beyond the door of the inn. Has something come to save the people Einsamall from the Fenrirkynn monster, or is there an even bigger threat waiting out there in colds of the Northlands?
