His attire, a tidy green waistcoat, auburn ascot, and sturdy brown trousers beneath a rich burgundy coat, speaks to the comfort and prosperity of life at Bag End. In contrast, the hastily grabbed dwarven contract is laden with clauses, its parchment crowded with elegant script and meticulous notes.

In his other hand he carries a trusty walking stick; perhaps an underestimation of the trials ahead, or perhaps simply a reflection of the innocence and practicality of Shire life.
