Zack Snyder´s Justice League Life Size Bust 1/1 Darkseid 136 cm
- Usurpation and Ascent:
Darkseid, originally named Uxas, was the younger prince of Apokolips. He plotted to assassinate his older brother Drax, seized and acquired the powerful force known as the "Omega Effect," and in the process transformed into a giant with a rocky exterior, changing his name to Darkseid. After his father, Yuga Khan, was trapped while exploring the Source Wall, Darkseid's mother, Queen Heggra, took control of Apokolips. Because his mother sent someone to assassinate the female scientist Suli, whom he loved, Darkseid ordered Desaad to poison his mother, completely forsaking his emotions and usurping the throne and divine position of Apokolips. His uncle, Steppenwolf, also submitted to him and became his military commander.
- Universal Conquest and Conflict:
After becoming a ruler, Darkseid engaged in a struggle lasting billions of years with New Genesis, led by Highfather. He once went against the entire Green Lantern Corps; when 3,600 Lanterns reached him at a heavy cost, they found it was merely a "setup" by Darkseid to test the Corps' strength. Eventually, the Guardians of the Universe negotiated with Darkseid and designated Apokolips as a restricted area for the Lanterns. In Crisis on Infinite Earths, he once severely injured the Anti-Monitor with his Omega Beam.
- Pursuit of the Anti-Life Equation :
One of Darkseid's core objectives is to find the Anti-Life Equation, which he believes will allow him to eliminate all free will and completely control the entire universe. This also makes him a sworn enemy of Earth heroes such as Chaoren. During the "Final
Crisis" event, he successfully used the Anti-Life Equation to erode and occupy Earth, almost merging the entire multiverse with himself, and was ultimately defeated by the combined efforts of the heroes.
- Threat of the Multiverse:
After the DC Universe reboot (New 52), Darkseid once invaded Earth of the main world, and his attack also prompted the formation of the Justice League. During the "Darkseid War," he fought against the Anti-Monitor and was killed again. The void created by his death even led to the Justice League members collectively ascending to godhood to fill it. After that, he was once trapped in an infant's body and resurrected.
